Body Confidence Giveaway Winner and the Daily Post (A Journey To Thin Style)

For breakfast this morning, I had some leftover scrambled eggs with cheese and ham on top along with a glass of milk and a banana for 10 points.

Before heading to class, I made some coffee with half and half for 1 point.

I went to my first class and my partner and I decided to set an appointment with the professor to go over our final project because the professor suggested that we meet with him. He was available right then, so we met with him right after class. We ended up getting a B+ on the project, so not as bad as he made it sound like we did in class. So it was good to get the meeting over with and get a general idea of how we are going to revise for the final. So I wasn’t able to make it to my second class- which was fine with me!

I headed home and made myself lunch. I had an Original Veggie Boca Burger on a sandwich thin with 2% cheese, tomato, lettuce, light Miracle Whip, and ketchup along with steamed carrots for 7 points total.

Eating Boca Burgers makes me feel like I am not dieting. It makes me feel like I am indulging on a fast food burger- but I’m not!

I was craving a little something sweet, so I had a No Pudge! brownie for dessert for 3 points.

I was just really craving sweets in the afternoon. My sister in law brought a stash of Trader Joe’s goodies when they came to visit- Thanks!! One of the items she brought was a package of Milk Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Eggs- made with real peanut butter. So I decided to try one of those for 6 points.

These were SOOOOOOO good. But I just can’t do 6 points every day. I will have to save these for a special treat.

And then it was time to work. The day went quickly but I was glad when it was over.

I am super sore from my workout yesterday. Painfully sore actually. My hips really hurt and when I walk I cringe with every step. I decided to rest today because of it. I really don’t need to be taking a rest day after one day of exercise- but I really hurt, so I think it’s best.

For supper, I had baked salmon, broccoli and cottage cheese for 5 points.

And for dessert, I had 1 cup of strawberries for 0 points.

I feel like my supper was such a well rounded meal. So healthy and nutritious.

I have 1 point left for the day and I am ending at 42.51% Carbs, 28.88% Fats, and 28.61% Protein. Not too bad!

  1. wow those are awesome ratios! I definately have an issue with carbs..My stats always end up being something like 50% carbs, 30% fat and 20% protein. Not really ideal for weight loss..haha

  2. I definitely don't eat enough protein but I'm working on it! Is the no pudge brownie a special recipe or a premade thing? Looks good to me!

  3. Hey - that isn't a bad grade from a hardass teacher. At least he is willing to meet with you and give you an avenue for improvement.

I cannot have PB chocolate anything in the house. I can buy a single thing, but that combo is like crack to me.

  4. Hmmm very interesting....can you teach me? I am SO confused on how many carbs I should eat.....your menus look amazing!!!!!!

  5. Thank you for the book! This is the first thing I have ever won on here =)

It's great that your grade wasn't as bad as you were expecting!

  6. I love boca burgers... I think they are better than hamburgers.

  7. Trader Joe's PB eggs are like crack. Once I have one I can't stop!!! Exactly the reason I didn't buy any this year.

  8. No way would I be able to have chocolate/peanut butter anything in the house. I do love the combo in frozen yogurt though!

  9. Why do your strawberries look so nice, and yet mine that I bought this week look like crap? I want yours! :)

  10. I looooove how all those strawberries are worth ZERO points. Doesn't that just make you SMILE!?
