Weigh in Day

Weigh in this morning was just as expected. I really went off track this weekend and that got me off course this week. I weighed 204.5, which is a 3.3 lb. gain—which makes me cringe. But I take full responsibility. I also know that these 3.3 lbs. will magically disappear one morning, sometimes it just takes a few days. But I was so close to Onederland and had to go and mess things up! I will get there though.

For breakfast this morning I ate oatmeal with strawberries and a glass of milk for 7 points.

After hubby left, I tried to get caught up on the dishes—which I did, yay! I feel like I am so far behind in everything!

I took a couple of hours vacation time this morning so that I could work on homework. So I got started on that right away. I sipped on a cup of coffee with Southern Butter Pecan creamer for 1 point.

I worked on homework all morning. For a snack, I had a banana and cinnamon almonds for 2 points.

Exercise has been nonexistent since I went back to school last week. I wanted to create a schedule including working out but so far it just hasn’t happened and it’s not because I don’t want to work out. It’s because I’ve been so incredibly busy that every moment of my time has been taken up with school or work or something else I have going on. And then when I have a few extra minutes, I just want to crash. I’m hoping that next week will be better. The rest of this week will be pretty busy. I won’t be able to post my regular daily posts, but I will be posting. There will be a giveaway too, FYI! Smile

And then it was time for work.

For lunch, I had a BBQ chicken salad with tomatoes, feta, black beans, pecans and a little ranch dressing for 6 points.

I was also craving a crunch, so I had 1/2 serving of Special K crackers and spinach dip made with yogurt for 3 points.

I finished it up with a Peanut Butter Fiber One brownie for 2 points. I like mine heated in the microwave with a dollop of whipped cream—YUM!

On my break, I made an iced latte for 1 point. I’m getting a little too dependent on coffee lately! But it keeps me running…

On my last break, I ate some cherries for 0 points.

And I was SO hungry, so I hate a Fiber One 90 Calorie Chewy Bar for 2 points.

And to be completely honest, I was still hungry, so I snacked on a few cashews and some cereal. I know! I need to stop. I’m going to estimate 4 points. I am finding myself wanting to eat—partly because I’m hungry and I think partly out of stress.

I have plans for the night and will be getting home late so I am going to post early. We are having Hebrew FF hotdogs for supper. Yummy!

One Poor Choice

For breakfast this morning I had a piece of light toast with peanut butter and a sliced banana along with a glass of milk for 5 points.

And then it was time for homework. I sipped on some coffee with Skinny Macchiato White Chocolate Mocha creamer for 1 point.

A few hours later, I ate a mini meal of egg beaters with laughing cow cheese and light yogurt with strawberries and blueberries for 3 points.

Overall, this morning I spent 3 hours working on homework—with a couple brief Facebook distractions. Winking smileAnd I’m still not done…I’ve found that I have to take advantage of every extra minute that I have or my homework isn’t going to get done.

I was so hungry today. I don’t know why? I ate my “lunch” on the way to school. I made a wrap with chicken salad for 5 points.

I also ate a cereal bar for 2 points.

That kept me full most of the school day. In my last class, I ate a light cheese stick for 1 point.

And by the time class was out, I was soooo hungry!

It was a rainy and dreary day today. Walking in the rain isn’t fun either! I had an umbrella, but I was still soaked and freezing cold! Do not wear flip flops when you have to walk a long way in the pouring rain, FYI!

BRRRR! And so I stopped at a gas station to get something to warm me up. I got a Fat Free Cappuccino and I tried to resist those Peanut Butter Crispy bars, but I couldn’t:

The good news—I ate half of the bar and drank half of the Cappuccino and brought the rest home to hubby. Good thing, because this still cost me 10 points. Sad smile

Hubby made supper tonight—which was SO nice! He made his famous creamed beef over toast—for 8 points. This looks kind of nasty, but it’s really good! lol

I also had a side salad with tomato, feta, pecans, ranch and BBQ sauce for 3 points…and it tasted so good that I had another one—so 6 points.

I could say that today was a bad day, but really I just made one bad choice. Lesson learned. I also cannot let myself get to the point where I’m so hungry that I’ll eat anything and everything.  Overall, I used 3 weekly points—so it’s not terrible, I suppose.

I have a ton of homework to continue to work on tonight—I have a goal of how many pages I want to read and then I’m going to take a while to relax…and it will feel so good! Plus, it’s pouring rain outside and I’m all comfy in my warm fleece pajamas, so I want to get this homework done so that I can go cuddle with hubby and watch a movie or something…it’s perfect weather for it!

Back to the Grind

Another weekend gone too fast! But it was a good one! We had a fun ladies outing and I enjoyed spending time with my family.

I did not do the best eating wise this weekend. But I understand that once in a while I will have weekends like this and they’re really not that big of a deal because I know that I don’t eat like that most of the time. I don’t like the way I feel when I do! But it could interfere with me making it into Onederland this week. Sad smile

For breakfast, I had cheerios with milk and pineapple on the side for 6 points.

We are so low on groceries right now! I usually get groceries over the weekend but since we were gone I didn’t get that done. But we’ll use what we have until I get groceries later on.

After hubby left for work, I started working on my homework. I got quite a bit done, but I have SO much more to do! I was starting to fall asleep, so I took a quick 10 minute nap and felt refreshed. And then it was time for work.

I sipped on coffee with Almond Joy creamer for 1 point while working.

For lunch, I had coconut shrimp with green beans and a tomato for 5 points.

I also had a Fiber One brownie for 2 points.

On break, I ate fresh cherries for 0 points.

On my break, I was so hungry! I ate a light string cheese and an apple for 1 point.

I got off of work about 30 minutes early—which was great! It gave me a little extra time to work on homework.

For supper, I made bean and cheese burritos with zucchini on the side for 8 points.

This was a great way to use some things up in the cupboard..but wow, they were spicy!

I also had some I do! I do! Wedding Cake ice cream for 4 points. It’s officially gone. Sad smile

Weekend with Family (Pictures!)

I had a great weekend with my family. Everyone was home, which doesn’t happen that often! It was a sort of farewell to my brother and family as they are moving to South Carolina. We will miss them!
